提名焦点人物小档案徐建明,1955年生,中共党员,社会学研究生毕业,教授,现任山东科技职业学院院长。二十多年来,他身先士卒,锐意进取,带领全院师生跨越式发展,学院资产从不足600万元发展到4亿余元,培养科技职业人才3万余人,为推动中国职业教育的改革和发展做出了重大贡献。由于他成绩突出,荣获“中国高等教育创新奖”、“感动山东十大新闻人物”等诸多荣誉,经绿色中国年度焦点人物评委会评议,徐建明获“2008绿色中国年度焦点人物”提名。
