临朐,作为全国最大的园林石交易市场、全国最大的工艺石集散地和江北最大的奇石交易批发市场,是《宝藏》杂志本期调查报告锁定的目标。临朐石市虽然起步较晚,但凭借丰富的资源、优良的品质和纯熟的加工技术,在短期内闻名全国,各地众多的二级石商、玩家、藏者纷至沓来、络绎不绝,实属难得。近几年,当地石农、加工作坊和石商生意一直十分火红,临朐也在2007年获得了“中国观赏石之乡”的美誉。为了全面了解临朐石市及其2008年的销售情况,本刊正在各地调查采访的记者分别从广州和石家庄汇合临朐,分头进行了深入的市场调查。在此,特别感谢王兆凯、赵炳福先生在本刊调查过程中给予的大力支持。
