眼子菜(potamogeton distinctus A. Benn.)曾是我省稻田重要恶性杂草,据78年各地调查资料估计,我省眼子菜分布面积达200万亩左右,危害及严重危害面积达100万亩以上,此后,由于一些地区实行了水旱轮作,推广了杂交稻,增施化肥,加强水浆管理,重视搁田烤田,以及结合药剂防除,危害已大大减轻。眼子菜在我省主要分布在湖荡地区,如洪泽湖,高邮湖流域以及里下河地区;沿海、沿江、宁镇扬丘陵地区及太湖流域局部发生。
