省委、省府并请转中南局、中南军政委员会、中南财委并人民日报、长江日报关于江西木材采伐问题,人民日报、长江日报去年先后指出我省曾发生过「滥伐」现象,今年三月七日长江日报又揭载了署名大公的读者指出我省财委「应彻查滥伐森林的错误」。江西为出产木材较多的地区,关于木材的管理,实为关系国计民生的重大问题。在全国统一管理木材,统一建立煤建公司以前,我省人民政府曾于前年底呈报中央人民政府政务院与中南军政委员会提分别建立木材的统一采伐机构与统一经营机构,以期将采伐与经营分开并将各县的乱伐
