竹刻艺术家、上海文史馆馆员徐孝穆1916年1月12日出生于江苏吴江。2016年,为纪念徐孝穆诞辰100周年,上海书画出版社出版了由上海市历史博物馆编的书名为《刻划始信天有功》的徐孝穆竹刻艺术作品集,上海嘉定竹刻博物馆和上海市文史研究馆先后举办徐孝穆百年诞辰竹刻艺术展。徐孝穆的竹刻作品,除一部分自画自书自刻外,多数是与当代众多著名画家书法家合作的,其中我们看到最多的是他与海派国画代表之一、国画大师唐云的合作。唐云早年在新华艺专任教,那时徐孝穆从新华艺专毕业离校不久。唐云1938年在上海大新
Bamboo carving artist, Shanghai Museum of History librarian Xu Xiaomeng January 12, 1916 Born in Wujiang, Jiangsu.
