应广电部的邀请,泰国泰华报人公益基金会主席陈世贤先生于1995年6月7日来北京访问,并接受了本刊记者的采访。 记者:今天,江泽民主席会见了您和您的家人,请谈谈感想。 陈:今天上午,江泽民主席会见了我和我的夫人及两个儿子,我们全家都感到很荣幸,也很光荣。我多次来中国,和李瑞环、李岚清、叶选平等中国领导人进行过交谈,感到中国的改革开放政策大得人心,现在,人民生活水平有很大的提高,政局稳定,国家富强,我们这些在海外的华人感到很开心。作为中华民族的一分子,我为中国而自豪。
At the invitation of the Ministry of Radio and Television, Mr. Chen Shixian, chairman of Thai Tai Wah Press Foundation, visited Beijing on June 7, 1995 and accepted an interview with this reporter. Reporter: Today, President Jiang Zemin met with you and your family, please talk about feelings. Chen: This morning, President Jiang Zemin met with me and my wife and two sons. All of our family feel honored and glorious. I have come to China many times and have conversations with Chinese leaders such as Li Ruihuan, Li Lanqing and Ye Xuanping. I feel that China has a great win over the policy of reform and opening up. Nowadays, people’s living standards have greatly improved. Political stability and the country are prosperous. Overseas Chinese feel very happy. As a member of the Chinese nation, I am proud of China.
