In the United States, where pop culture converges, its popular culture has a great impact in the world. The fierce competition is also known to the rest of the world. Hollywood seems tired all these years, began to eat a copy of the old, start a dog after the ferret business. But the television industry in the United States is still thriving. In the United States, television is the most convenient way for people to entertain, and the television program “Marries” to the Internet makes it more and more popular. The veteran variety show “American Idol” has been number one in Neilson’s ratings charts since launching in 2002. Although occasionally ups and downs during the period, but opened in 2007, then with a sharp momentum back to the first place. The first episode of “Prison Break” broadcast in August 2005 had a significant impact in the United States. However, after the interruption of more than one month of broadcast in the second quarter, it fell out of the list on January 22 this year. What can surprisingly be that “jailbreak” is unusually hot in China across the ocean. The fate of these two programs represents the trend of American pop culture, and the survival of the fittest is the same.
