“开放大学”起源于20世纪70年代英国的The Open University,之后各国纷起仿效兴办开放大学,这反映了各国对大学教育的要求。马来西亚开放大学以其进步的办学思想,完备的专业设置,新颖的办学形式,先进的教学媒体,低廉的培养费用和优秀的教育质量享誉全球。本文通过分析马来西亚开放大学的教育特色,剖析其成功的办学经验,以期为我国高等教育的发展提供有益的启示与借鉴。
“Open University” originated from The Open University in the UK in the 1970s, and many countries followed suit to open up open universities. This reflects the various countries’ requirements for university education. The Open University of Malaysia is known all over the world for its progressive thinking of running schools, comprehensive professional settings, innovative forms of running schools, advanced teaching media, low training costs and excellent educational quality. This article analyzes the educational characteristics of Open University in Malaysia and analyzes its successful experience in running a school so as to provide useful inspiration and reference for the development of higher education in our country.
