学习动机作为一种非智力因素,是语言学习诸因素中最具能动性的因素之一。本文根据Gardner提出的动机理论,指出动机对外语学习的影响最大,能直接影响学习者的学习动力,且与学习者的学习成绩直接相关。在此基础上,笔者结合Dornyei的三层框架理论,对影响民办本科院校学生英语学习动机的因素,从语言层面、学习者层面、学习环境层面进行了阐述,并有针对性地提出了如何利用一定的诱因激发和培养学生英语学习动机的建议和方法。
Learning motivation, as a non-intellectual factor, is one of the most motivating factors in language learning. According to the motivation theory proposed by Gardner, this paper points out that motivation has the greatest impact on foreign language learning and can directly affect learners’ motivation and is directly related to learner’s academic performance. On this basis, the author combines Dornyei’s three-tier framework theory, expounds the factors that affect the motivation of English learning in private undergraduate colleges from the aspects of language, learner and learning environment, and puts forward some suggestions Suggestions and methods of stimulating and cultivating students’ English learning motivation by using certain incentives.
