我省民间医兽在8千人以上,其中大多数都积累了丰富的医疗经验和熟练的技术,是我省保障畜牧生产安全、消灭牲畜疫病的一支很大的力量。几年来,在各级党政的正确领导下,发挥了他们的积极性,提高了政治和业务水平,因之在牲畜防疫保健工作上起到了重大作用。但由于过去对祖国兽医学术和民间兽医人员的力量和作用认识不足,致民间兽医潜力和中兽医学术的作用没有得到充分的发挥,有的地区到目前还没有民间兽医的组织,有的虽有了组织,也因领导不够,流于形式。为了正确地发扬祖国兽医学遗产和发挥民间兽医的作用,加强兽疫防治工作,做到在7年或12年内基本消灭我省牛、
In our province, there are more than 8,000 folk medical beasts, and most of them have accumulated rich medical experience and skilled techniques, which is a great force in our province to guarantee the safety of livestock production and eliminate livestock diseases. In the past few years, under the correct leadership of party and government at all levels, they have played their enthusiasm and have raised their political and professional standards. This has played a significant role in animal epidemic prevention and health care.
