Time: 13:00 Venue: Jiang Zhi Studio Artist Jiang Zhi is a representative of contemporary Chinese images. He has given us a serious question in the exploration of human emotions. What exactly is sorrow? Where did sorrow come from? Perhaps more well known than any other previous work is the video entitled “Salt of 0.7%.” True, the tears on Gillian Chung (Gillian) are not a set of pictures, but a few frames taken from an 8 minute and 34 second video. Gillian in the picture was taken to the close-range camera, clavicle and incense shoulder to make pictures, white background and
