目前英语AB级,大学英语四六级写作及考研英语小作文等都考察学生掌握英语应用文写作的能力,内容涉及投诉、建议、邀请、辞职、道歉、申请、推荐、求职、离职信等内容,由此可见在校大学生,尤其是正向应用型人才培养方向转型的独立学院大学英语教学应创新教学模式,改革教学内容:由传统的以讲解英语单词,语法的精读教学转向以提高学生们英语语用能力,尤其是英语应用性写作能力的素质教学改变,进而提升他们整体的英语语用能力,成为社会急需的应用型人才。
