故居,这是一个非常好的课题。我早就想编一本有关北京名人故居的书,请有关人士,包括名人直系亲属、专家、或者知情者来写。写的时候,一要确凿,二要有趣,三要有情。这样的书,会有三层含意:首先是存史,其次是传承一种文化,最后则是有现实的指导意义,指引着当今的人们爱护它们,保护它们,利用它们。通过北京市政协文史资料委员会的努力,这样的书,终于即将问世。我有幸参预了其选题、组稿座谈和部分撰稿。它仅仅是头一本。还应该继续编下去,形成一个系列,资源很多啊。据我所见,世界上有三个城市,在名人故居保护方面,给我留下过深刻的印象,一是圣彼得堡,一是伦敦,一是巴黎。圣彼得堡和伦敦的情况非常类
Former residence, this is a very good subject. I have long wanted to compile a book about the former residence of celebrities in Beijing, asking relevant people, including immediate celebrities, experts, or insiders to write.
