In the sixties and seventies, the “Big Three” changed, mainly pointing to bicycles, watches and sewing machines (the other was bicycles, watches and semiconductor radios). By the 1980s, the “big three” turned to television sets, refrigerators and tape recorders (the other said television sets, refrigerators and washing machines).
