The British study on the detection of buried mines using low-frequency parametric sonar and the remote-controlled mine-hunting system jointly conducted by Britain and France were introduced. The UK Defense Research Service also briefly introduced the use of wideband sonars in mine-countermeasures and their study of various array technologies. The principle and method of detecting landfill mines with parametric array sonar and the sea test results are introduced.
