目前,英语教材中的阅读短文教学是这样进行的:读一读文章,逐句讲解文章内容,然后知识点介绍,处理文后问题。这样的教学形式已不能满足学生的需要。对于当今学生来说,他们不仅要熟悉内容,掌握知识点,还需要了解文章的写作手法以及文章的题材和结构。这就要求教师在教学中,不但要进行短文内容的分析,还要对短文的整体结构进行更进一步地探讨。
At present, the teaching of reading essay in English textbooks is carried out by reading an essay, explaining sentence content sentence by sentence, and then introducing knowledge points and handling post-essay questions. Such teaching can no longer meet the needs of students. For today’s students, they not only need to be familiar with the content, acquire knowledge points, but also need to understand the writing style of the article and the subject matter and structure of the article. This requires teachers in teaching, not only to analyze the content of the essay, but also to further explore the overall structure of the essay.
