According to Hong Kong’s “Ta Kung Pao,” it is reported that in the new millennium, the upsurge of Taiwanese investment in the mainland is still having a fever. The investment by the Taiwan authorities recently passed the 32 cases of investment and capital increase. The total investment amount is nearly 200 million U.S. dollars, the highest single amount approved in recent years. Among them, the electronics industry has attracted the most attention. The approved cases of mainland investment and capital increase totaled over 100 million U.S. dollars. Large listed companies such as Kingbird, Campbell, Acer and Datong were approved for over 10 million to 30 million U.S. dollars respectively
