In order to understand the infection of Demodex in school students in the military region, we investigated the infection of Demodex in facial areas of 6 to 42 students aged 17 to 25 years in the military school in our district in the spring and autumn of 1997. Results and discussion 1 Demodex infection rate among students A total of 354 positive demodex persons were found in 642 trainees. The infection rate was 5 45%, male and female students.
