世界的选择——中国 1991年1月28日,我国外长钱其琛致函联合国秘书长,邀请“有关各方于1995年在北京举行妇女问题世界会议。与此同时,中国政府也愿意担任非政府组织论坛东道国。”此前,奥地利政府已正式向联合国发出了邀请。 1995年适逢联合国成立50周年,第四次世界妇女大会事实上被看作是联合国庆祝活动的重要部份。1995年又是联合国“国际妇女年”20年和《内罗毕战略》10周年,在这一年举行世界妇女大会,令人瞩目,内涵深远。
World Choices - China On January 28, 1991, Foreign Minister Qian Qichen sent a letter to the Secretary-General of the United Nations inviting “all parties concerned to hold a world conference on women in Beijing in 1995. At the same time, the Chinese government is also willing to serve as a non-governmental Government organization forum host. ”Earlier, the Austrian government has officially sent an invitation to the United Nations. The year 1995 marks the fiftieth anniversary of the United Nations, and the Fourth World Conference on Women is in fact seen as an important part of the celebration of the United Nations. The year 1995 is the twentieth anniversary of the United Nations “International Women’s Year” and the tenth anniversary of the “Nairobi Strategy.” It is a remarkable and far-reaching conception that the World Conference on Women was held this year.
