对淮南猪82头半同胞测定猪13个经济性状进行相关与聚类分析,结果表明:同类性状间的相关程度较高,不同类的性状相关程度较弱,体长与产肉性能存在强的正遗传相关,与产脂性状存在弱负相关的规律,在选育中加大体长,可提高瘦肉率,这在淮南猪选育中有着非常重要意义;聚类图呈树枝状,基本上将13类性状分为4大类,第一类为增重速度,第二类为肥肉率,第三类为屠宰率,第四类为瘦肉率,与传统的性状分类结果基本相同,而应用多元统计中的聚类分析方法,可将相关程度较高的经济性状聚为一类,清晰地反映在一张图上.
