随着广州港股份有限公司黄埔港务分公司于2014年8月堆场GPS实时定位监控系统正式投入使用,标志着广州港信息化水平再次提高一个层次。广州港股份有限公司黄埔港务分公司采用《香港怡讯集装箱码头管理系统》堆场卫星定位子系统,对全场机械设备进行实时监控跟踪调度,让调度人员更直观地了解拖车的实际位置及作业状态等信息。港区43台红岩拖车、19台龙门吊、12台正面吊、4台堆高机安装GPS设备,为流动机械调度提供实时数据依据,辅助集装箱作业,提高了作业效率,
