“学习要对学生终身发展有用。”是新课程标准赋予教学的基本理念。《高中英语课程标准》的总体目标是培养学生综合运用语言的能力。该能力是建立在学生语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识等素养都能整体发展的基础之上的。按照新课标的要求,在教学过程中,教师的角色较之传统教材发生了变化,主要由知识的传授者转变为指导者、帮助者和监督者,更多地从教师中心转变为学生为中心。新教材要求
