新课标指出:“数学教学是数学活动的教学。教师要紧密联系学生的生活环境,从学生已有的知识经验出发,创设生动的数学情境……”在课堂教学中创设数学情境,可让学生亲身经历将实际问题抽象成数学模型并进行解释与应用的过程,使学生获得数学学习的自信心和兴趣,体会数学与自然、社会、人类生活的联系,让学生在自主探索中建构有价值的数学知识,获得情感、能力、知识的全面发展。另外,情境教学为学生留有探索与思考的空间,使学生的主动性、创造性得到了很好的发挥。
