One day in June this year, the reporter saw the former president of China Law Society Wang Zhongfang at the swimming pool beside a sanitarium in the western suburbs of Beijing. Despite being 89 years old, he is still shy and full of red light, insisting that he practice more than an hour a day in the swimming pool. The youth went to Yan’an and became involved in the cause of revolution in China. After the liberation, he had been engaged in political and legal work for a long time and was brutally persecuted during the Cultural Revolution. He was trapped in shame for nearly six years. After his release, he made an enormous contribution to the development of China’s legal studies and law societies. , Still maintained the heroic spirit of “revolutionaries will always be young”.
