1972年间,我回到科室工作,当时邮电部已被撤销,原邮政总局被合并到交通部,邮票厂归交通部邮政总局领导,改名为交通部北京邮票厂。1972年9月2日发行的《第一届亚洲乒乓球锦标赛》邮票共4枚,是我先后送样到交通部批样的。负责邮总工作的朱春和(原邮电部副部长)看样看得很仔细,提了很多问题,我一一作了回答。他说对邮票质量很不放心,一定要认真印好, 决不能疏忽大意。我向他作了自我介绍,说自己一直在邮票技术岗位上,最近才恢复工作,我们会认真把好质量关的,请领导放心。他这才签字批准付印。
