工业革命以来,实践证明自然资源是区域经济发展的重要因素。但是在区域经济发展的过程中,又出现了一个现象:一些资源贫乏的的地区,其经济增长的速度反而赶上了很多资源丰富的地区或国家。这一现象说明区域经济发展的决定因素和发展结构已经发生了变化。资源潜能就是新时期决定区域经济发展机构的重要因素之一。
Since the Industrial Revolution, practice has proved that natural resources are an important factor in the development of regional economy. However, in the process of regional economic development, another phenomenon has emerged: in some resource-poor areas, the rate of economic growth has instead caught up with many resource-rich regions or countries. This phenomenon shows that the determinants and the development structure of regional economic development have changed. The potential of resources is one of the important factors determining the development of regional economy in the new era.
