Under the auspices of the State Seismological Bureau Scientific and Technological Supervision Department, the second national earthquake precursor cleanup meeting was held on July 27-31, 1986 in Xinxiang, Henan Province. There are 58 experts, scholars and scientific and technical personnel from 38 units of institutes, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, universities affiliated to the Chinese Academy of Sciences affiliated to the State Seismological Bureau attending the conference. Delegates submitted 30 papers and working papers to the conference. A wealth of academic presentations and lively panel discussions were held during the conference.
