1994年2月18日,北京外贸出口企业中首家股份制公司一北京市服装进出口股份有限公司正式宣告成立。这家公司的前身,是在北京外贸企业中出口创汇排名第一、年进出口额达到3亿美元的北京市服装进出口公司。这家公司实行股份制改造,在服装行业和经贸界引起了广泛的关注。记者不久前走访了这家公司的总经理严隽和女士。 严总经理今年53岁,高级经济师,1963年毕业于北京对外经贸大学,先后在北京海关、北京市纺织品进出口公司
On February 18, 1994, Beijing Municipal Garment Import & Export Co., Ltd., the first joint-stock company in Beijing’s foreign trade export enterprises, was formally announced. The company’s predecessor was the Beijing Garment Import and Export Company, which ranked first in foreign exchange earnings among Beijing’s foreign trade enterprises and whose annual import and export volume reached US$300 million. The company’s shareholding system reform has caused widespread concern in the apparel industry and economic and trade circles. The reporter recently visited the company’s general manager, Yan Yanhe. Yan Yan, general manager, 53 years old, senior economist, graduated from Beijing University of International Business and Economics in 1963, successively at Beijing Customs, Beijing Textile Import & Export Corporation.
