过去我国对于金沙江流域地质总括的调查研究工作做得较少,而金沙江地区有着奇特的地质——地貌现象,她流经了横断山脉褶皱带、康滇地盾(其中包括东川古陆、小江山前拗陷)、昆明凹陷,在四川地台的西南边缘和杨子江相连。金沙江河谷有着新颖的第四纪的水流沉积、冰川沉积、冰川地形、第三纪的湖相沉积与河流袭夺等现象,这些对于解决长江水系的发展史有着重要的意义。金沙江的地貌现象是最夺人心目的,这些奇特的地貌现象,正是反应了金沙江的近期地质构造运
In the past, our country did a little research on the geology of the Jinsha River basin. However, the Jinsha River area has a peculiar geology-geomorphology. It flows through the Hengduan Mountains fold belt, Kangdian shield (including Dongchuan ancient land , Xiaojiang piedmont depression), Kunming depression, and Sichuan Yangzi River in the southwest edge of the junction. The Quaternary sediments, glacial sediments, glacier topography, lacustrine sedimentation and river capture in the Jinsha River Valley are all of new significance in solving the development history of the Yangtze River water system. The landscape of the Jinsha River is the most dramatic, these strange landscape phenomenon, it is the reaction of the recent geological structure of the Jinsha River transport
