笔者认为,中国档案学目前面临着发展危机。对某一学科来说,其理论出现危机不是坏事,是学科发展中的正常现象。危机是飞跃的前夜,是实现飞跃的动力所在,那么,中国档案学要摆脱危机走向飞跃的契机何在呢?本文拟就此作点思考。 思考一:能否摆脱冷门学科的尴尬地位? 当前有人把经济学看作热门学科,是因为经济能经邦济世;把档案学看作冷门学科,是因为档案是藏于横木框档之废纸。显然,这是错误的。实际上,没有任何一门科学能代替其它科学而成为万能科学,只有多门科学协同起来,才能经邦济世。档案学处于冷门学科的尴尬地位,归根到底,一方面是因为档案学自身学科体系还不成熟,规模还不壮大;另一方面是因为它未能与其它科学有机协同起来,未回到档案学本来应有的位置,未承担本应由它承担的任务。
