据南朝鲜《东亚日报》1988年10月4日报道,南朝鲜出版界在第24届奥运会前掀起了苏联热,大量出版过去被视为禁书的介绍苏俄的译著。东亚日报社出版了《俄罗斯历史》,兴盛社出版了《苏联史》。南朝鲜人通过这两本专著,希望了解从古代到苏联革命成功的历史;并了解共产党政权在革命胜利以后的发展过程及苏联人民的生活变化。奥运会期间,苏联芭蕾舞团曾赴汉城公演,南朝鲜月印出版社为此出版了《苏联芭蕾舞团》一书向南朝鲜文化界作介绍。另外,北方政策研究所编译的《为了亚洲的和平》一书在南朝鲜斯拉夫研
According to South Korea's “East Asia Daily” reported on October 4, 1988, the publishing community in South Korea set off a hot Soviet Union before the 24th Olympic Games and published a large number of translations introducing Soviet Russia in the past as a forbidden book.
