今天我们满怀崇敬之情召开座谈会,隆重纪念统一战线的忠诚老战士、中国民主促进会的卓越领导人,新中国出版事业创建者之一的徐伯昕同志。徐伯老长期致力于革命的出版事业,忠实执行党对出版事业的指示,是传播革命文化的出版家。1925年10月,他就协助邹韬奋先生创办《生活》周刊,抗日战争爆发以后,《生活》周刊加入到了抗战的行列中。1932年7月,徐伯老创办并主持有广泛影响的生活书店,这是一个为长期作战而准备的革命出版工作的堡垒。生活书店联合读书、新知等书店和一批进步刊物,集中力量宣传抗日,并把反日斗争引导到建立抗日民族统一战线上,形成文化战线上抗日民族统一战线的生力军,为抗战起到了思想鼓动作用,为
Today, with full respect, we hold a symposium to commemorate the loyal veteran of the united front, Comrade Xu Boxin, one of the outstanding leaders of the China Association for Promoting Democracy and one of the founders of the publishing business in New China. Xu Bo-lao committed to the revolutionary long-term publishing career, the faithful implementation of the party’s instructions on the cause of publishing, is to spread the revolutionary culture publishers. In October 1925, he assisted Zou Taofen in the founding of Life Weekly. After the Anti-Japanese War broke out, Life Weekly joined the ranks of the Anti-Japanese War.
