Introduction In Sarawak, the traditional method of fertilizing cultivated peppers is the application of organic fertilizer such as burned soil and shrimp bran, bean cake, blood meal and cake. After the Second World War, pepper prices, pepper farmers try inorganic fertilizers. However, due to improper fertilization methods and excessive use, economic returns. A comparative experiment in 1972 showed that concurrent application of inorganic fertilizers and trace elements could increase production and reduce costs in the long run. This paper reports the results of studies on the optimum dosage of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium and the formula of different types of soils. The cited data came from two experiments, one in the Bay Area in 1959 and one in the other
