Walking in the modern city of Beijing, row upon row of high-rise buildings, extensive wide road, as a Beijingers, I feel the earth-shaking changes every year, but this old Beijing also sacrificed some of the traditional, and gradually fade out of Beijing Alley and the unique alley culture is one of the most important part. As the saying goes, “scarcity is precious,” people are often interested in the little alley twists and turns, as well as his way of representing the old Pekingese, clutter yet quiet, simple yet warm. People with different backgrounds have different feelings about the alley. This issue of two film friends, with their different understanding of Beijing Hutong, came to the city face with many readers to meet. What they say may make you feel familiar, but maybe that’s what you want.
