1997年11月,中国国家环保局、林业部联合组织一批专家、技术人员,巡航在千里长江之上,紧急开展实施“抢救白鳍豚”的行动,其范围还将扩大到洞庭湖、鄱阳湖。人们又一次敲响了白鳍豚的命运危在旦夕的警钟。
In November 1997, China’s National Environmental Protection Agency and the Ministry of Forestry jointly organized a group of experts and technicians to cruise on the Yangtze River and urgently carried out the operation to “save the white dolphins”. The scope of the operation will be extended to Dongting Lake and Poyang Lake. People once again sounded the alarm of the fate of the dolphin.
