寻根派作家试图引入西方现代观念对传统进行改造,走一条西方与本土相结合的文学发展道路。在追逐现代性的文学创作中,呈现出反思现代性,但不拒绝现代性;批判现代性,但又不排斥现代性的特征。
Root-seeking writers try to introduce the modern concept of the West to transform the tradition and take a path of literature development that integrates the West with the native land. In the pursuit of modernity, literary creation presents a reflection of modernity, but does not reject modernity; criticizes modernity but does not exclude the characteristics of modernity.
