五九年我队地质勘探工作,在党的正确领导下,在总路线的光辉照耀下,通过整风、反右等一系列政治运动,尤其是党的八届八中全会决议精神的鼓舞下,全队职工意气风发,干劲冲天,发挥了不断革命、不断跃进的精神,在地质勘探工作中取得了巨大的成绩和继续跃进的胜利。两年来,在武安、涉县、邢台一带,找到了大、中型铁矿28处,小型矿点120多个,勘探出大量富铁矿储量,为矿山建设提供了充足的后备资源,为新建的邯郫钢铁基地奠定了资源基础。
