After a dull and plain development in the 19th century, German painting finally took a giant turnaround in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This shift is from the traditional school-based realistic painting to a modern painting style with expressionism as the mainstream. In this transformation, German painting realizes self-style construction as well as converts the source of self-culture and cultural character. In the middle, Louvis Colinte is one of the most typical painters. The evolution of his personal painting style essentially constituted a microcosm of the general development of German painting at that time. Therefore, Lowvis Colin is a very valuable case for studying the development of European modern art, especially the Nordic expressionism. Based on the analysis of the representative works of Louise Colin at different periods, this paper analyzes the internal logic of its style change and uses it as an analysis of the intrinsic motivation of German painting in the transformation of the late 19th century, The Relationship between External Language Construction and Internal Spirit Construction.
