一九四六年底,赵凡参加了《海国英雄郑成功》的演出。青年人第一次上台,心里着实忐忑不安。眼看该出场了,他却对自己怀疑起来。就在他犹豫不决的时候,不知谁从后面推了一把,不容分说地把他推出了侧幕。然而当他站定了脚、稳住了神之后,原来的那些怀疑、犹豫竟都不翼而飞了,因为在他眼前展开了一个崭新的、奇妙的世界。如今,三十多年过去了,赵凡已经成了辽宁人民艺术剧院最受观众欢迎的著名演员之一。他勤奋刻苦,深入生活、钻研角色,锲而不舍、一丝不苟;在观众里和同行中,都得到了“演啥象啥”的美誉。
