What happened in the middle? In the past three decades, China’s offshore oil equipment has made great strides. Currently 300 meters below the water depth of oil equipment, has basically achieved localization. This depends on the work done by the Leading Group for offshore oil development equipment set up in the early 1980s. Established in 1981, with the abolition of the institutional reform of the State Council in 1987, the Leading Group of Offshore Oil Development Equipment has been established for more than seven years.
