Scallops have been started in some parts of New Zealand. Small-scale trials have shown that scallop seedlings from around 10 millimeters have been collected to a maximum size of 100 millimeters in just two years in New Zealand waters. In Japan and Scotland, it takes three years and breeds less. Scallop seed they will collect
