卡介苗接种工作,在我国虽已大量推行,但各地接种情况颇不一致。本溪市根据卫生部指示的精神,参考各兄弟单位的经验,经卫生局研究决定于1956年成立经常性卡介苗接种站,以新生儿为主进行接种工作,茲将二年来的工作情况介绍如下,与同道们商榷。突击接种的方式已不能适应需要我市由1950年开始推行卡介苗接种工作,每年的接种任务是由省卫生厅统一分配,在卫生局领导下,组织各医疗单位的力量采取突击方式进行的。自1950年—1954年共接种30,000人次。1955年市结核防治所成立后,卫生局即将该项工作责成市结核防治 Bacillus Calmette-Guerin (BCG) vaccination work has been implemented in large quantities in our country.
