记忆中和中国统计出版社的接触,开始于1998年,当时我正巧在台湾中央研究院访问。大陆方面来了一个9人代表团,由当时的国家统计局副局长邵宗明带队(其他同行还有,王吉利、张泽厚、谢鸿光、文兼武、高余先,人民大学易丹辉、东北财经大学邱东以及上海财经大学徐国祥)。很荣幸亲逢如此盛会,随他们一行人从北到南走一回:台北到南投到台南到高雄……处处受到热烈的欢迎。这便种下了过去一二十年的革命情感。回想起来,还是觉得挺幸运的,老天特别爱护我。
My memory came in contact with China Statistics Press, starting in 1998, when I happened to visit the Central Academy of Sciences in Taiwan. A 9-member delegation came from the Mainland and was led by Shao Zongming, then deputy director of the National Bureau of Statistics of the People’s Republic of China (along with Wang Ji-li, Zhang Ze-hou, Xie Hong-guang, Wen Shu-wu, Gao Yu-xian, Renmin University of China, Qiu Dong University and Xu Guoxiang, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics). It is a great honor to meet at such a grand occasion and walk with them from north to south once. From Taipei to Nantou to Tainan to Kaohsiung ... Everywhere, we are warmly welcomed. This has planted the revolutionary feelings of the past one or two decades. In retrospect, still feel very lucky, God cares for me in particular.
