In 1923 the whole party 472 members, of whom 164 were workers members, accounting for 38%. There are 57,967 party members before and after the Big Five, with 50.8% of workers, 18.7% of peasants, 19.1% of intellectuals, 0.5% of small and medium-sized businessmen and 7.8% of other components.
