贵州省委、省政府提出在今后十年和“八五”期间,要在利用外资工作上打开新局面,为全省经济发展筹措更多的资金。该省在与福建、云南两省联合举办的1991福建投资贸易洽谈会上,充分发挥了沿海地区的“窗口”优势和内地省份的资源优势,根据优势互补、互惠互利的原则,采取了多种形式,扩大同港、澳、台的联系。在这次洽谈会上,许多外商对贵州的自然资源、技术力量和经济基础表现出极大的兴趣。一批项目进入了深入洽谈阶段,一批贵州地产商品打开了新的市场,还有一批内联项目也有了意向协议。整个洽谈活动,取得了较好的效果,达到了预期的目的。
