在已发掘的西汉长沙王室墓中,曹墓是出土玉器相对较多的一座。曹墓早年被盗,但考古发掘仍出土了三百多件文物。其所出玉器共46件,包括玉印3件、单面透雕龙马玉珩2件、鸡心玉佩2件、玉环2件、玉瑗1件、玉璧12件、玉璜6件、玉贝12件以及其它玉器6件。这座墓发掘于1974年12月至1975年1月长沙市咸嘉湖陡壁山,位于长沙王陵区内,墓中出土了“曹”玛瑙印两方,“妾”玛瑙印一方,故被命名为“曹”墓。根据墓中出土器物的形制大小及规格,整理者推断,
