本文指出了影响集装箱码头车辆运输和堆垛作业经济性的各种因素.用数学理论方法对占地费,设备费和人工费进行了推理,写出了由这些因子组成的不等式,并进行了解析.根据编写的计算车辆运输作业与堆垛作业总费用关系的计算机小程序,得出了吊顶装卸机效率,集装箱在港停留天数,利率,占地费的变化与堆垛作业总费用同车辆运输作业总费用比值间关系的一系列曲线图.每张图都被一条水平线划分成两个区域:上面区域的值大于1,应优先采用车辆运输作业,下面区域的值小于1,应优先采用堆垛作业.从这些图可得结论:在采用效率最低的吊顶装卸机(每天搬运10次),最小利率,最小占地费的前题下,可证明在港停留6天以内采用车辆运输作业是合算的.
