喻钟烈教授是著名画家张大千先生的表弟。喻教授的生父是辛亥革命时期的同盟会员。喻教授的叔父是黄花岗七十二烈士中的喻培伦大将军,喻教授1930年诞生后,依家族前约,过继给喻培伦起名钟烈(忠烈之意);1949年赴香港,1956年去西德,攻经济学,现为柏林自由大学社会学教授;兼任我国四川大学教授。1993年10月27日,他参加北京高校校友海外联谊会时,畅谈了他对中国的观感。他对21世纪世界商业中心东移中国的论点,已引起了我国经济界一些领导同志的重视。本刊特将喻教授的谈话发表,以飨读者(全文较长,本刊有所删节)。
Professor Yu Zhonglie is the cousin of the famous painter Zhang Daqian. Professor Yu’s biological father is a member of the alliance during the Revolution of 1911. Professor YU’s uncle was a great general of Yu Peilun in 72 martyrs of Huanghuagang. After his birth in 1930, his predecessor, Yu Peilun, proclaimed the name Zhonglie (the meaning of allegiance); went to Hong Kong in 1949 and went west in 1956 Germany, attack economics, now a professor of sociology at the Free University of Berlin; concurrently Professor of Sichuan University in China. On October 27, 1993, when he attended the Beijing Alumni Overseas Friendship Association, he talked about his perception of China. His argument that the world business center of the 21st century moved eastward to China has drawn the attention of some leading comrades in our economic circles.
