对于世界能源市场而言,2003年是波澜迭起的一年,供应受阻,石油和煤炭的需求与生产双双迅猛增长,并出现了20年来油气市场的最高价位。中国已经成为全球能源市场上日趋重要的一股力量。今年6月29日,BP在人民大会堂举行仪式,隆重发布《2004 BP世界能源统计年鉴》。这充分体现了中国的重要性,以及BP与中国携手共同应对能源问题的愿望。 BP能源统计年鉴最初发布于1951年,50多年来,它一直在为多变的世界能源市场提供十分重要的事实根据。当BP能源统计报告第一次被公布的时候,它仅仅是一份8张纸的散页。53年过去了,BP2004年能源统计年鉴已经成为一本44页之多的资料,而且其中充实了大量示意图和曲线,成为了一个科技转型力量的小小典范。
As for the world energy market, the year witnessed turbulent growth in 2003. The supply has been hindered. Both oil and coal demand and production have grown exponentially, with the highest oil and gas market prices in 20 years. China has become an increasingly important force in the global energy market. On June 29 this year, BP held a ceremony in the Great Hall of the People and promulgated the 2004 BP World Energy Statistical Yearbook. This fully demonstrates the importance of China and the desire of BP to jointly tackle the energy issue with China. The BP Energy Statistics Yearbook was first published in 1951 and for more than 50 years it has been providing very important factual evidence for the changing world energy market. When the BP Energy Statistics Report was first released, it was just an 8-page spreadsheet. Fifty-three years have passed since the 2004 edition of the 2004 academic year has received as much as 44 pages of information and a great deal of schematics and curves have been made into a small example of the power of science and technology transformation.
