英语教学一直重视对学生语言交际能力的培养而忽略了对学生非语言交际能力的培养。英语教师要加强对学生跨文化非语言交际能力的培养。重视跨文化非言语交际的教学,注意自身的非语言交际行为及所教语言材料中的非语言交际行为所传递的信息,才能真正帮助学生掌握所学语言的文化背景知识,提高学生的跨文化交际能力。
English teaching has always attached importance to the cultivation of students’ communicative competence and neglected the cultivation of their nonverbal communicative competence. English teachers should strengthen students’ ability of intercultural nonverbal communication. Emphasis on cross-cultural non-verbal communication teaching, pay attention to their own non-verbal communication behavior and teaching language materials in non-verbal communication behavior of the message, can really help students master the cultural background of the language knowledge and improve student cross-cultural Communication skills.
